Mit Viva Con Agua zu arbeiten ist mir immer eine Freude, nicht nur weil’s für einen guten Zweck ist sondern auch weil sie einem immer mit coolen Projekten verlinken. In diesem Fall mit dem legendären FC St. Pauli.
Für jedes Heimspiel des FCSP kreiert ein ausgewählter Künstler aus dem Millerntor Gallery Pool einen Print der in einer limitierten Auflage von 100 Stück erscheint. Wer diesen Print Kauft unterstütz dabei coole Kunst, hat etwas Schönes zum Aufhängen und supportet auch noch die Wasser-Projekte von VCA. WIN WIN WIN!
Ich wurde dazu eingeladen den Heimspiel Print des FCSP gegen den Karlsruher SC zu gestalten deren Maskottchen ein Wildschwein ist, der Totenkopf repräsentiert natürlich St. Pauli. Zusammen mit VCA kam die Idee auf ein Design zu entwickeln, dass an eine Spielkarte erinnert, so kam auch der Tiel ‘Alles auf eine Karte’ zustande. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Resultat und werde in Zukunft definitiv mehr Arbeiten in dem Style machen.

For every game FCSP plays at home a chosen artist from the Millerntor Gallery roaster designs a print that is limited to an edition of a hundred. I was invited to design a print for the game against Karlsruher SC, their mascot is a wild boar and the skull of course represents FCSP. Together with VCA the idea came up to do a design the resembles a gaming card hence the name of the print ‘Alles auf eine Karte’ wich translates to ‘to go for broke’. I really like how it turned out, will do more work like this in the future.
